Having finished my ECAD tick 2 (Conway’s Game Of Life on an Altera DE2 FPGA board) ahead of schedule in the lab earlier this afternoon, I decided to celebrate by doing that trip I posted on Sunday again – it’s quite good. Already knowing the route I was going to do meant that this time I didn’t backtrack or stop anywhere. However there was some serious headwind all the way from Oakington to Madingley which noticably slowed me down. Despite this I managed a faster time than my first time (specifically, a lower average moving speed but higher total average speed). Other than this the only other interesting thing is that for some reason Google My Tracks reports the maximum speed as 102.16km/h. Total distance 19.07km, moving time 52 minutes and 58 seconds (started at roughly 3pm, finished at roughly 4pm). This is the route:
